Hope and things

A few weeks ago we took a trip down to Hope on the Kenai Peninsula to camp with friends and listen to music by The Denali Cooks.  Most of the town was destroyed in the earthquake of 1969.  But there is a small community that still lives there year round.

We took a trip up to Denali State Park. 

The colors were amazing and we could see the Alaska range with Denali.  I set up my camera timer to take a picture of us and while the timer was going off Nate proposed!  I had no idea what was happening, completely surprised :)

    And drinking fat tire in Alaska? Looks like a great time, especially the proposal! Who's that boy's parents? They sure raised him right:)
